We are building the foundational layer of digital infrastructure for the non-profit sector. Pioneering DPI-DPG initiatives in India, such as India Stack, UPI and MOSIP have demonstrated transformative impact on improving trust, reducing costs and accelerating growth.
We are on a mission to bring this transformation to the non-profit sector with the crucial infra stack building an interoperable registry, verifiable credentials, consent-based data sharing and APIs.

The most comprehensive and clean registry of all types of non-profit organizations in India updated till June 2025
We are a foundational digital infrastructure layer that everyone can use
We collaborate and empower applications for others
We provide insightful analytics to power policy and strategic philanthropy

In years of working closely with organization in India's social sector, some questions we encountered many times every day did not change. People were asking each other if they knew non-profits working on a particular cause in a specific location, and everyone struggled to find credible up-to-date information. Philanthropic funds were sitting idle for months while search for partners and long due diligence were happening - and multiplied by the number of givers!
Non-profits spend an inordinate amount of time and resources providing documents and org information to multiple donors for every project. What if we took away this duplication of work and wasted energy by making the documents, information, due diligence and other credentials available in one place at a click for everyone, while preserving the data ownership and consent to share? Imagine the time and effort saved, the speed of transaction, and the trust if verification of these credentials was paperless and automated!
That's what we are building - an essential digital infrastructure for India's philanthropic ecosystem to flourish. We are DIPI (Digital Infrastructure for Philanthropy and Impact) Development Foundation, a sec 8 not-for-profit company.
We are building an ecosystem asset in collaboration with philanthropy, service providers, academia, researchers, policy makers, think tanks and non-profits on the ground. Talk to us today to collaborate and contribute!
